Leadership Corner

There are many definitions of leadership and loads of interpretations but when it comes to getting things done, leadership, in some form, is required.

In order to achieve lasting change and improvement, behavior needs to change.  When we can isolate specifics and develop skills, behavior will change and ultimately results.  Key skill areas:

~ Communication
~ Organization
~ Prioritization
~ Planning
~ Saving

There are the BASICs that begin to put some processes in place.

When we break these skills down, focus and improve everyday, we can lead better at home.

Take small tidbits of excellence and make them personal habits.

One of my favorite reads, every Sunday is in the business section of the NYTimes, page 2, "The Corner Office".  Each week the feature a high level executive and discuss keys to their success.  It's a brief, yet deep insight to some of the things that make people successful.

Keep surrounding yourself with good people and good reading material.  You can't lose!
